The Vector OBU (On-Board Unit), which is developed by the HC Linear IT Development Ltd., contains all the experiences of the last 10 years. It combines the accumulated knowledge and skills with the most modern hardware and software solutions.

The Vector OBU is the basis of a complex system, which not only can issue tickets and passes, but also accomplishes GPS-based traffic control and passenger information. Also ensures the wireless transmission of the time table, prices, VAT and other data, the automatic setting and controlling of the system.
The ticket issuer hardware is connected to the OBU, which contains the interface electronics, the double-rowed display and the thermal printer of high performance.

The basis of the OBU software is a Linux system. The ticket and pass issuer is developed around this Linux system by the HC Linear IT Development Ltd.

The on-board and the background system supports also the e-pass- and e-ticket-system.
